Concealers are like the ultimate cheat sheet when you have acne, blemishes, or just less-than-vibrant skin. Breakouts are barely even an inconvenience when you have the right concealer, and the fact that a lot of concealers have branched out into anti-bacterial acne treatments just make using them that much sweeter.
Sadly, though, there’s a lot of concealers out there that are dreadfully counter-productive, giving you more spots to hide. This means that there’s probably more benefits to using a paraben-free, natural concealer than there is any other beauty product; not only are all natural concealers just inherently awesome, they’re also usually a lot better than synthetic brands purely due to their lightweight formulas and lack of skin irritation causing synthetics. Oh, and did we mention the best natural concealers are also packing nourishing, soothing ingredients that actually help – not just cover – your skin?
So now we’ve figured out that we need a good natural concealer, we might as well look at some, right? For your perusal, we’ve laid out a selection of eight concealers that are definitely worth talking about- for one reason or another.
7 All Natural Concealer Brands to Banish Everything from Dark Eye Circles to Blemishes
W3LL People Bio Correct Multi Action Concealer
This multi-action concealer is a jack of all trades when it comes to skin types; it hides flakes and hydrates cracked skin whilst getting rid of the excess oil that’s probably getting on our oily/combination skin friends’ last nerves.
As soon as you put it on, this concealer settles into your skin and gets to work. The texture is very creamy and wonderful for delicate areas (as well as dry skins and wrinkles) since it doesn’t crease or cause that crepe-y appearance.
Oh, and thanks to the extra-gentle and mostly organic formula, it’s the perfect concealer for acne and other pesky blemishes. Coverage is also amazing. A little goes a long way and it does a great job of evening out your skin tone. Plus, it’s got great staying power and holds up well, even in hot and humid weather.
Again, thanks to its complete lack of irritants or inflammatories, this is one concealer that won’t contribute to further breakouts. Plus, it has the huge bonus of containing a roundup of ingredients that will heal and soothe inflammations like natural oils and calendula.

Vapour Organic Illusionist Concealer
Vapour named its organic concealer line Illusionist, so the pressure is on for it to perform a truly magical disappearing act, right? Well, it’s definitely got the coverage for it, leaving no blind spots for the audience to peer into.
But before we get into that, we interrupt your regularly scheduled programming to geek out about the shade variety.
Okay, so there’s only nine, but they are both fantastically vibrant and impressively comprehensive.
From pale and pasty to what we’d describe as medium black (not quite dark enough, in our opinion, but we take what we can get) you’re almost certain to find a shade that fits your skin perfectly – currently making it the best natural concealer for color matching (unfortunately, most natural and organic makeup brands often stop at medium complexions), even for the darker-skinned cuties that get left out of natural makeup far too often.
Thanks to a number of different anti-oxidant rich, nourishing and calming ingredients, this concealer actually helps to boost skin health over the long term and not in the wishy-washy, good-enough-for-now sense that you usually get. It’s great for making dark circles and acne vanish, with healthier, more vibrant skin appearing in its place. It’s hardly David Blaine (does anybody know where he went?), but we’d get tickets to the show again.
To get back to the coverage this concealer provides – this is probably the best full-coverage natural concealer currently available. First of all, it’s highly pigmented so you’ll need just the tiniest amount to hide what you need to – blemishes, redness, and even dark circles. And its texture is perfect. It’s not too moist, not too slippery and most importantly – doesn’t settle into fine lines.
Like most of Vapour’s products, the Illusionist range is 70% organic, with the rest of it made up by both organic and inorganic mineral colorants. Oh, and this is coverage you’ll get without pore-clogging consequences. We think this is our favorite product from Vapour. And that’s saying a lot.

RMS “Un” Cover-Up
RMS’ ‘Un’ Cover-Up isn’t just an edgy name; it’s actually fundamentally geared towards healing and fixing the problems that lead us to need concealers in the first place. Its lightweight organic formula is densely packed with natural gems designed to moisturize and replenish our skin, supplying it with the nutrients and minerals it needs to keep everything running smoothly. Most of our skin problems today originate because our diet is kind of stupid, so it’s no surprise that this ‘un’-concealer works so well.
When applied, it glides like silk across your face and doesn’t make a fuss about settling down into your skin. It’s guaranteed not to block your pores and can even offer some much-needed moisture for dry skin. The coverage is sufficient as it is, but if you need to bury some serious acne, you can use as much of it as you like to cover everything you need it to since this is a totally non irritating, non comedogenic concealer.
This natural concealer is definitely light enough to use as both a concealer and a foundation. There’s no cakey-ness to speak of, even when you layer something on top for extra coverage. And thanks to the nourishing oils, it gives a lovely dewy glow. Oh it’s very long-lasting, too – usually stays put the whole day.
The RMS concealer is completely free from animal testing- though we should note that it’s not safe for vegans since it contains beeswax.

Juice Beauty Correcting Concealer
Juice Beauty is a seriously respectable company by themselves, powering their efforts by solar power and doing everything they can to reduce their carbon footprint. It’s no surprise that their concealer is also awesome. But before we start singing a praise song, we should probably note that this actually only comes in two shades, which limits the amount of people who can use it dramatically. Ivory is for paler skin and Sand is more for medium complexions.
Now we’ve gotten over the downside, let’s get onto the good stuff. The formula for this concealer is a goldmine of natural goodness; from aloe to acai berry, the stuff is loaded with much needed anti-oxidants and nutrients that do wonders for your skin. It can easily heal up cuts or bruisers on the face, as well as doing its fair share to shrink acne and blemishes. That obviously makes it great for acne-prone skin, but other than that it’s suitable for any skin type. The good majority of the recipe is completely natural, devoid of any artificial colorants, additives or irritants.

Ecco Bella FlowerColor Cover Up
If Ecco Bella was a person, they’d be ridiculously huggable. Starting out as a movement against the ill treatment of animals in cosmetic tests and in slaughterhouses, they’ve morphed into an awesome little natural beauty brand.
Their concealer is easy to apply and glides on like a dream. The hydrating formula, consisting of mostly wax and a number of different naturally occurring oils, is really gentle on sensitive skins. This means it’s also practically incapable of causing a break-out. Its coverage is good enough to make dark circles and acne disappear within a wink. We’d recommend this concealer for those with skin conditions like rosacea as well. Again, this isn’t suitable for vegans since it contains beeswax.
The only potential downside is that it’s thicker than most natural concealers – which is a godsend if you’re looking for some serious coverage, but may not be for those who prefer a more light-weight formula. That being said – the rich texture feels amazing, is long-lasting, and not prone to creasing.

100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Brightening Concealer With SPF 20
This is one natural concealer you won’t feel bad about forgetting to take off before bed. That’s ’cause 100% Pure has a great thing going on – using dyes made from pure fruits with nothing added in. It’s this no-nonsense approach to makeup that makes their concealer one of the safest on the market. No matter how sensitive your skin is, this concealer can’t break you out more than eating a carrot can give you a stomach ache.
100% Pure’s pigmented brightening concealer is ideal for application under the eye to get rid of dark circles and de-puff. It contains SPF 20 as part of the concealer, and whilst it’s always great to get sun protection along with your concealer, you really shouldn’t rely on it for all your protection. It’s better to get something in the range of 40-50 SPF for that.
There’s six shades available, ranging from pale to medium, which isn’t very comprehensive but seems to be the trade standard for natural makeup products these days. Coverage could also be better, but unless you really need everything hidden, it should suffice.
The formula is almost completely natural, with a few harmless inorganic compounds throwing it off that target. Because it’s mostly just based out of fruit, there’s no real need to do any testing- which, by association, means no animal testing as well.

CONS Organic Natural Concealer Paste
This one basically does what it says on the tin; it’s part concealer and part acne treatment. It uses salicylic acid as an anti-inflammatory to soothe the skin. A good rule of thumb is to always be suspicious when an acid is called an ‘anti-inflammatory’. Admittedly, even though it sounds wrong, some weak acids are close to the pH of our own skin and can help to prevent damage to our skin’s protective layer.
Salicylic acid seems to be pretty good when it comes to acids, though; it’s the stuff that gives aspirin its healing effects, so it’s not really surprising that it’d be great for acne and blemishes. The coverage you get is fairly decent, but in our opinion this product focuses more on being an anti-acne treatment than it does on being a concealer.
Something else to note is that whilst CONS did really make an effort to present an all-natural formula by adding the likes of shea butter and squalene for organic moisture, it still contains a few harsh chemicals and is therefore- ironically- not ideal for those with sensitive or break-out prone skin.
